Jake Scott crowned King of the Bra 2012

Congratulations to Dragon's Jake Scott for taking out the 2012 King of the Bra surf contest in Maroubra, NSW, after beating Mark Matthews in the final. Stoked on the new King!

Dragon's MX Race Team Celebrates Dual Round Wins

Dragon's Carlton Dry Honda MX Race Team riders, Brad Anderson and Ford Dale, have claimed wins in their rounds of the Monster Energy MX Nationals in Wonthaggi, Victoria, over the weekend. This is a huge victory for the team, and sets the team in good standing for the next round of the Nationals, to be held in Wanneroo, Western Australia, May 12-13.

Tom Pelley Blogs from Grenade Games, Bear Mountain

Grenade Games 8...

It was the second Grenade Games I have been to and once again it was one of the highlights of the year for me. Bear Mountain in California turned out a amazing course with some never before seen ideas, for example the BMX trails with pond skims in between each jump. Danny hired out a whole hotel of little cabins so we could all party and ride together; complete with on lake access, beer pong table and block parties every evening.

As for on hill shenanigans, the first event was the Eye Ball jump, followed by the always entertaining Chinese Downhill through the mogul field. The second day was the crazy Monster Pipe which has some unique transfers and gaps, and finally my favourite; the race through the park. One on one through a series of rails, banks, jumps and two pond skims. Danny and I had a good match up getting a little dirty but that made it even funnier.

Down the bottom Grenade never disappoint with amazing bands and a good time!

Thank you Danny and Dingo and everyone else who made it happen. Good course, good friends and good times. True snowboarding.

Palm Springs Pool Party Pics!

This past Easter Saturday Dragon celebrated the launch of the new Palm Springs Pool Collection by throwing a Palm Springs themed party at Left Off The Rocks in Torquay. Attended by team, retail partners, industry and media, the event was supported by the awesome guys at Australia's Surfing Life Magazine and Toohey's Extra Dry. Entertainment was provided in bulk by the awesome BAGSvDK duo - keeping everyone glued to the dance floor and partying well into the night. Owen takes our Waves Mag Contest Winner for a surf!

This past Saturday saw the lucky winner from Dragon's surfing contest in Waves Magazine enjoy his amazing prize - a one-on-one aerial coaching session with Owen Wright. Kicking off with a tasty breakfast at Moby's on the Torquay Esplanade, Alex and Owen then hit up 13th Beach for a surf, dodging the many grommets and fans crowding the beach and waves to catch a glimpse of the World No. 3 in action!
